As an artist, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of revisiting a piece and finding a new way to express its essence. Recently, I undertook the challenge of repainting „The People of Light,“ and I must say, I’m much happier with this new version.

Embracing the Glow

In this repainting, I focused on enhancing the luminous quality that defines the People of Light. I experimented with different shades and techniques to bring out the radiance in their skin.

The Contemplation of Male Characters

One of the challenges I continue to face is how to draw the male characters of this civilization. While the women of the People of Light came to life effortlessly with their graceful and ethereal features, capturing the essence of the men has proven to be more complex. The process of creating male characters for this civilization is a journey in itself. It involves understanding the balance between strength and gentleness, and how these attributes manifest in a society so different from our own.

Looking Forward

For now, I am content with the progress I’ve made. This repainting of „The People of Light“ feels more aligned with our vision of this world. The glow, the serenity, and the harmonious existence of its inhabitants are more palpable in this version. Yet, the journey is far from over. Art is a continuous process of evolution, and I am excited about where this path will lead me next.
